My new LOVE

Her name is Corliss, she is 6 years old, going to Primary 1 next year.

She still doesn't know how to write her name and is learning how to write 上下大小

She still writes "5" in the opposite way and spells "two" as "twee"

Most importantly, she doesn't know how to write her chinese name

Her mother permed her hair into a lion.

Nevertheless, she is so cute. Trust me, she is cuter than the pictures taken. (She is trying to count, by the way)

She is my new LOVE :)

Malaysia

Went 四湾岛 in Malaysia on Sunday with my family. It's those one day trip and basically there's nothing much there besides many temples and not-so-yummy seafood.

They say I will have alot of children when I carry this banana! LOL! I want a football team! HoHo!

Lunch was lobster but I didnt manage to take it cuz everyone snatches it. But it wasnt delicious, in my opinion. The crab is better, by a bit.

As you can see, it's in the forest, some ulu place and all we can shoot is grass and grass and grass... haha

Then went to Jusco for shopping but seriously, there's nothing to shop. it's the same regular shopping mall. So we had coffee at Old Town instead. It's supposed to be better than the one in Spore but i don't think so.

And I saw 新娘车！ Whenever I go Malaysia, I always see 新娘车！-.-

Yupz, that's Siwan Dao. Sorry Lishan, I didn't buy any pillow biscuits because it's too far away from where I was and we are running short of time :(

88.3JiaFM Campus Reporter 09

Decided to go down to Heerens with aunty to support sis in her 88.3JiaFM Campus Reporter Competition 09 on Saturday.

3 DJ hosts for the day and one of them is du hui ping.

10 finalists...

Frankly, this year's standard aren't that good.

Basically they have to go through 3 rounds: campus reporter introduction of the two events, talent show & lastly situational answering.

Sis at 1st round, she is very anxious...haha, she is number 9!

look at the cheerleading team! consists of her JC friends, social work friends and SPH friends. of course not forgetting us the family members! the most enthu one is of course her mum! haha

And this is taken while she is preparing for round two: talent show! and guess what is she performing?!

INDIAN DANCE! -.- trust her to think of such weird ideas, it just amused me totally.

I think it's in the Ow family blood lah. call us creative or simply, SIAO. And this is me trying to help her with the dressing and make up.

Lishan and Michelle, i finally managed to see her boyfriend after like so many years!

I am damn entertained lah, and i conclude that the siao element is in our blood! She totally rocks, something that i think only us dare to do on stage. damn funny! 豁出去了！sis u ROCKS!

This is 3rd round, where she has to try to sell daikins purifier within 30secs...

Rabbit came to perform...

Look at the orange cheerleading team! they simply rock the show! of course, i also shout till no sound!

And no wonder we won 3rd in cheerleading! haha

And finally the results...

They gave out consolation prizes first and then left with these two!! YAY!!

And sis emerged as the winner while the other guy won the most popular award!

YAY!! CONGRATS SIS! I FEEL SO PROUD OF U!! $1500!!

Being idle

it has been a relaxing week.

i just decided not to go for any workout, sleep as late as i wanted, have impromptu lunches/dinners, send a few resumes to jobs that interest me, go for keyboard lesson, walk around myself, lie in the sofa whole afternoon to watch tv/dvd, hog on to my iPhone games every moment etc.

i have been writing much less. there hasn't been much things going on around me. and most of the time, i'm slacking at home, with the usual activities -> hence nothing much to blog about. even when i switch on the computer, it only takes 15 mins to check mail and i will switch it off.

现在的我，就是什么东西都不想做。

and i'll probably be in this state till 2010 arrives.

Just yesterday, i decided to just visit Chris at night. She wanted 10 fresh prawns so that she can cook me dinner. Instead, i got 500grams (approx 40 prawns) from the supermarket. Well i think she can have prawns meal for the next week.

When you miss a friend, you are willing to go all the way to meet her, no matter how much troubles it take :)

and after playing with my iphone last night, she decided to buy it today. Welcome to the dark side :)

And just this afternoon, Eugene drove us to Rangoon Road for yummy bak kut teh. it was raining so heavily but the soup warm our stomachs. i love these kind of mini lunches :)

Im getting bored with Orchard Central

Accompanied ndrew to meet his china friend. Went Ken Noodle House for yummy Ramen and then to Orchard Central to walk around.

Frankly, sometimes there are just people whom we can't get along well with. If coming to this beautiful island is such a pain, then why bother?

I love Singapore, still. :)
